First run in 2012, the TorQ Percussion Seminar is a week-long seminar for college and university students with an emphasis on community and a performance focus on percussion chamber music. Presented by the members of TorQ Percussion Quartet, previous seminars have run in conjunction with organizations including Acadia University School of Music, Stratford Summer Music, The Lunenberg Academy of Music Performance, and the Don Wright Faculty of Music at Western University. Alumni of the seminar have gone on to form their own ensembles, pursue high-level graduate work, win orchestra jobs, obtain teaching positions and more.
